THE BMW XM.
THE EXTERIOR & INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE BMW XM.

Front design.
The iconic front in the style of the BMW luxury class inspires with its “Iconic Glow” illuminated kidney grille and thin daytime running lights typical of M. The distinctive grille with the BMW XM logo and exclusive Night Gold accents exudes luxury and exclusivity. The powerful sculpted bonnet merges smoothly into two power domes.

Side view.
The side view combines the strong character of the design in coupé style with powerful proportions and styling highlights such as the darkest windows of the entire BMW model range. Both the 23” light alloy wheels and the accent band that make the shaping of the BMW XM unique create an especially exclusive effect in the accent colour Night Gold.

Rear design.
The vertical, hexagonal M twin tailpipes give the rear with gold-coloured diffuser accents and the XM logo a unique presence. The two BMW logos lasered on either side of the rear window make reference to the last “M only” model – the BMW M1. Together with the wheel arches, the surrounding rear lights emphasise the robust, broad stance.

Illuminated headliner.
The indirectly illuminated headliner impresses with a three-dimensional prism structure. Distinctive Ambient light provides a splendid presentation of the various lighting designs such as the welcome scenario. The colour selection can be adapted to individual needs to match driving mode and atmosphere.

M Lounge.
The M Lounge offers a unique sensation of spaciousness. The one-piece seating area and details such as the diamond-shaped structures in the headrests and stitching pattern convey comfort and luxury. Together with the sculptural, indirectly illuminated headliner, dark windows and comfort cushions, they create a novel feeling of space.

Exclusive Vintage leather.
The leather with vintage character fascinates with its natural structure and texture setting elegant accents in the door trims and instrument panel. This material is being put to use for the very first time exclusively in the BMW XM and the special processing and refinement methods provide unique and individual styling in every vehicle.
COCKPIT AND TECHNOLOGIES.
Due to regular software updates, screen designs in the communication may differ from the actual screen design in your car.

M specific display concept through BMW Operating System 8.
The BMW Operating System 8 simplifies vehicle operation, e.g. by voice and touchscreen. The highlight is the M specific design: Content in 2D ensures the best recognisability; the M logo can be found in the presentation of the content. The two M modes ROAD and SPORT create an individual, emotional driving experience.

BMW Curved Display.
The one-piece BMW Curved Display presents information about the vehicle in a clear manner and over a large area. It combines a 12.3” instrument display with a touch-capable 14.9” Control Display. Operation is ergonomically optimised and intuitive. Its stylish integration into the dashboard also makes the Curved Display a real eye-catcher.

M Setup.
With M Setup, you can design the driving experience according to your own wishes. Configure driving dynamic parameters according to your individual requirements. The drive, running gear, steering, brake, energy recovery and the all-wheel drive system M xDrive can be adjusted. Retrieve your saved configuration easily using the M1 and M2 buttons on the steering wheel.

Personal eSIM.
Whether it's phone calls or data usage – with the Personal eSIM you can also use your own mobile communications contract for your BMW. Your smartphone does not have to be in the vehicle. You benefit from better reception because you automatically use the vehicle's external antennas. More connectivity: Your BMW is 5G-enabled and offers a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Comfort Access.
Save yourself the hassle of having to hold the vehicle key: With Comfort Access, your M vehicle unlocks the doors automatically. The vehicle recognises you from a distance by your key – you no longer have to search in your pockets. Instead of a classic key, you can also use a compatible smartphone as Digital Key Plus or the Key Card.

Wireless charging tray.
More order, more comfort: With the wireless charging tray, you can charge your smartphone wirelessly and thus extremely conveniently. In the extended storage area, there is also room for larger devices – within easy reach and without annoying covers and tangled cables. And all this with the greatest possible safety: The built-in cooling protects your device from overheating.
THE DRIVING DYNAMICS OF THE BMW XM.

V8-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine.
The V8-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine stands for pure driving pleasure, superior power delivery and the distinctive M sound. The system power reaches 653 hp and a torque of 800 Nm, all thanks to the virtuoso interaction of the high-performance 4.4-litre V8 and the 197 hp electrical machine – a combination that thrusts the BMW XM forward unbridled.

Adaptive M suspension Professional.
The adaptive M suspension Professional impresses with sporty handling without compromising on comfort. The Integral Active Steering stabilises the vehicle at higher speeds and simultaneously reduces the turning radius. Active stabilisers reduce side-to-side body movements, improving driving dynamics and comfort.

M Sport differential.
The M Sport differential delivers the best possible performance for your vehicle on the road. It variably distributes the driving power between the rear wheels thus improving traction and driving stability in various situations – be it when accelerating out of bends, at high cornering speeds or with differing road conditions.

BMW XM Technical Data
BMW XM
Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
BMW XM[1]:
Fuel consumption, combined WLTP in l/100 km: 1.7–1.6
CO2 emissions, combined WLTP in g/km: 39–35
Energy consumption, combined WLTP in kWh/100 km: 34.5–33.0
Provided technical data are measured according to the WLTP, not NEDC.
Official data for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range was determined in accordance with the prescribed measuring procedure and corresponds to European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the applicable version. For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case). For vehicles that have been newly type approved since 1 January 2021, only the official data according to WLTP exists. In addition, NEDC values are deleted from the certificates of conformity as of 1 January 2023 by EC regulation 2022/195.
